Lee A. Jerore- Biography
".. combining knowledge with lifetime experience"
Lee
Jerore's love of architecture started early when he toured the Vanderbilt
Mansion at the age of 13. Inspired by this architectural marvel, Lee took
four years of drafting classes throughout high school and worked as an
architectural draftsman both during and after high school.
Lee joined the United States Air Force in 1967 and served as a Dog Handler in the Vietnam War. He also served three years in Asia before leaving the Air Force in 1971.
Back home, Lee focused his efforts once again on his architectural career. He took a job as an operating engineer working for Operating Engineers Local 324, where he stayed for 20 years. While there, Lee constructed buildings, roads, sewer systems, etc. and operated various types of heavy equipment.
Lee decided to go back to school in his forties to study architectural drawing and design. He then drew upon this new knowledge and a lifetime of experiences to start Lee A. Jerore, Inc., custom home design.
Having both construction and drawing experience, Lee can literally "build the house" as he draws it--working through challenges and finding opportunities in the virtual format, saving valuable resources during the actual construction phase. Lee has formed his company to produce designs for homeowners, remodelers, builders and architectural firms.
